At the Resilience Expo, we turned one of our Adaptation Exchange working groups into something you could actually play. Close to 200 participants stepped up to build their own "Adaptation Stack": combining the right resilience solutions to tackle a climate hazard end to end, from risk analysis to recovery.
Four teams cracked it. 🎉 We drew the winner, and the "Wildfire Heroes" take home their tickets to the Handelsblatt Live Conference "Corporate Climate Adaptation" on 14/15 October. Congratulations! And kudos to all who have actively engaged in the amazing interaction!
The setting could not have been better. The Hugo Junkers Hangar in Mönchengladbach, with the old JU-52 watching over hundreds of participants and resilience exhibitors from across Germany, Europe and the world. The partnering Minnesota Pollution Control Agency gave the day a truly international character.
