Climate change is happening now. Its impacts like floods, heatwaves and wildfires can already be felt in everyday life. The changes are structural and irreversible, and they will only intensify, reshaping the conditions under which companies operate.

Furthermore, these changes carry with them substantial monetary losses, posing a threat to the mid-term economic viability of businesses. Reducing emissions remains essential and must continue. Yet, even if we managed to achieve the best possible greenhouse gas reduction, we would have to learn to live with a significant degree of warming.
 

We must manage its consequences. Mitigation and adaptation stand side by side: mitigation avoids the unmanageable, adaptation manages the unavoidable. Both are indispensable, but it is adaptation where companies are least prepared, and where the need to act is most immediate. For most organizations, the gap is no longer awareness, but strategic action. They widely assess and report climate risks, yet few translate that awareness into coordinated decisions and investment.

Closing that gap is our purpose. We want to be the trigger for change. We are the door opener for corporate climate adaptation, helping companies kickstart the necessary conversations and processes to move from recognizing climate risk to acting on it.
